Free first pilot

Give your student the chance to build something real.

The first online pilot is limited to 10 students ages 13 and up (roughly grades 8–12). Students need a computer, internet access, curiosity, and an idea.

Why 13+? Students create their own accounts on the AI tools we use, and those tools set 13 as the minimum age with a parent's permission.

Parent or guardian registration is required for minors. Workshop recording, if used, will require separate optional consent.

Why is the workshop limited to students 13 and older?

Students build with real, mainstream AI tools on their own accounts — not a watered-down classroom simulator. The major AI services set 13 as their minimum age for teen accounts (with a parent or guardian's permission), so 13 is our floor too. Some tools, including Claude, are limited to adults 18 and up, so we only ever use tools each student is actually eligible for.

Which AI tools will my student use?

We work with widely used, teen-eligible tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini, plus beginner-friendly AI building platforms. Before the session, you'll get a short setup guide listing exactly which accounts to create with your student and how to turn on the privacy settings we recommend.

Does my student need coding experience?

No. The workshop is built for beginners. Students describe what they want in plain language, learn to give AI clear direction, and make decisions about what to keep, fix, or change. Students who do code are welcome — they'll just move faster.

What does my student need to participate?

A computer (not a phone or tablet), a reliable internet connection, a modern browser, and the accounts from the setup guide created ahead of time with a parent. A rough idea of something they'd like to build helps, but we help students find one in the first minutes.

How much does it cost?

The first pilot session is free. We're keeping the group small — 10 students — so we can give real attention to every project and learn what works before opening more sessions.

Is a parent required to be present during the workshop?

Parents aren't required to sit in, though you're welcome to. A parent or guardian handles registration, approves the student's tool accounts beforehand, and receives a recap afterward with a link to what their student built.

What happens after the workshop?

Students leave with a live, shareable project they own, plus the habits to keep building: how to direct AI clearly, check its work, respect originality and privacy, and improve a project over time. Pilot families hear first about follow-up sessions.
